Automations Bootcamp for Doula Agencies

Tracking leads and keeping track of client communications, staying on the same page with agency staff, manual tasks that take up too much time…. Operations for a doula agency can be totally overwhelming. You got into this to serve families and empower doulas, but the administrative load can suck the joy out of it!

You may be afraid of dropping balls - or you know that you already are. Maybe you’ve reached a volume that feels unsustainable, OR you want to shoot for more volume but don’t think your systems can manage it.

While you likely want your interactions with families and doulas to feel personalized, there’s a lot of the day-to-day tasks that can be taken off of your plate through automations! We have three sample automations we’ll share with you, and walk you through step by step, so that you will leave this workshop knowing how to save hours every week, freeing you up to focus on what’s important!

Hi! I’m Kathryn. I started out as a postpartum doula (after working as a mediator for 15 years!) and then became an agency owner in 2016. I’m passionate about finding the balance between serving families and supporting doulas in their career growth. I create and facilitate professional development programming for doulas, and offer business mentorship to Agency Owners.

One Moon Doula started with a team of 5 doulas, and has grown to serve two counties with the offerings of over 30 doulas. My agency has served many hundreds of families and contributed to the professional growth of a growing network of Postpartum Doulas. As we've grown, we've needed to restructure and systematize, and despite having high demand and a high client caseload, I've been able to achieve better work-life balance than when we were smaller and less busy! This experience, combined with the business expertise that has informed the overall success of my agency, equips me to help fellow agency owners carve a path for themselves and their agencies that helps them succeed in doing the work they love with the strong footing they need to continue serving families for years to come, while still preserving their own work-life balance!

What if I can’t attend live?
No problem! All registrants will receive access to the workshop recording.
Will this workshop recur?
We can't guarantee this, but we do hope to offer it 2 times a year depending on the response. If we don't offer it again, there may be an option to purchase the recording at a later date. Again, the only way to guarantee access is to purchase a ticket now!
I already have some automations set up. How do I know if I need this?
We’ll cover using Zapier, using CRM workflows, and more. We'll share ideas for better tracking systems for leads, clients, team members. But also,... I encourage you to reach out to me first if you’re not sure - send us an email at hello@onemoondoula.com - or send us a DM - describing what automations you already utilize, and/or areas you think you might lack automation support… and I can let you know whether I think we have more for you to explore!
I pay an administrative assistant or virtual assistant to do many of these tasks. Will they still have a job if I automate everything?
Haha most likely! First, you’re unlikely to automate everything all at once. And, setting up the automations themselves can take some time and trial and error, which an AA or VA can be immensely helpful with. Additionally, there are always certain things that need to be done manually - or at least overseen by a human. And finally… if their time is really freed up, imagine what that means you could delegate next!
Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?
There are no refunds, however, you will still receive the recording and any shared resources.
